THE BAROQUE
Between history and archaeology

The “Florence of Baroque” offers itself in its regal and solemn appearance of symbol town of Salento since 1700. The Baroque art is the main pattern with its spires, loggias and the portals of the old town.

The tour will end on the Adriatic coast, on sites of particular historical interest, where the charm of the places sum up to appeal of its history. The presence of caves with very old graffiti written in latin or in greek in it, dating back to the third century, is very relevant.
